Craniosacral education

Deep dive into the art of holistic treatment, where touch becomes medicine

Discover Norway's Fifth Craniosacral Education Specialized in Personal Growth and Self-Development

S i fe since 2009, we have had the pleasure of educating several hundred craniosacral therapists in Norway. Over the years, our education has evolved from focusing on pure therapeutic practice to becoming a profound path for personal growth and self-development. Many of our students are already experienced therapists – doctors, psychologists, osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists, physiotherapists and other health professionals – who are seeking what they lacked in their previous education: a spiritual dimension, personal development, shamanic traditions and a deeper connection with the elements of nature.

Others are taking their first steps on the path to a healthier life and a deeper understanding of holistic health and growth.

At our school, education is about more than mastering therapeutic techniques. You will undergo a transformation that extends far beyond professional development – a journey where you discover new aspects of yourself, strengthen your intuition, and find deeper meaning in your work and life. We believe that as a therapist, leader, teacher, instructor, counselor or healer, you can only help others to the extent that you have developed yourself, which is why we see working with other people as a lifelong journey, where continuous self-development is key.

We are proud to be Norway's largest school of Craniosacral Therapy and one of the leading in Scandinavia. Each class is unique, and we continuously update the curriculum to provide you with the latest knowledge and the most effective tools. You become part of a close and supportive community where together we create a safe space for personal and professional growth. Here you meet like-minded people who share your values and support you on your journey.

With us you can choose between two fields of study:

Professional direction: For those of you who are already an established therapist or work with human health and development in some way, or for those of you who have a strong desire to educate yourself to become a professional therapist, teacher or counselor with deeper insight and skills.

Personal Direction: For those who are primarily participating in the Deep Personal Growth study program and want to explore new dimensions of themselves, with the goal of becoming the most authentic and true version of yourself. For these participants, there is more flexibility, fewer activity requirements between sessions, and no exams.

"Perhaps you feel like there is something more you are seeking in your life – a deeper understanding, a stronger connection to yourself and others, or a path that gives your life greater meaning.

Our education is tailored for those of you who want to break through barriers, find your inner power, and live more authentically."

About the study program

Through the program, you will gain access to timeless tools rooted in ancient healing traditions, confirmed by modern understanding and research on human functionality.

You will receive support and guidance from experienced people who have walked the path before you, which allows you to develop further and learn to live in harmony with yourself and your surroundings in today's society, in step with the rhythm of nature and the pulse of the earth, in touch with your soul's highest potential.

The program is collection-based and consists of 8 modules, each lasting 4 days, spread over 2 years, so you can study at your own pace.

At our academy, we build on a holistic and shamanistic basic philosophy, where the connection to both inner and outer nature is fundamental.

During the program you will learn craniosacral techniques, shamanic practices, philosophy, sensitive touch, the art of listening, as well as reading body language, energy fields and the psyche. In addition, we focus on developing resilience, finding inner strength, joy, stillness and deep peace through touch, meditation, breathing techniques, yoga and other methods that connect you to your soul's highest potential.

What is craniosacral therapy?

At the heart of craniosacral therapy is the fundamental understanding that within each of us lives a natural rhythm, a subtle pulsation known as the craniosacral rhythm. This rhythm is not just a physiological occurrence; it is nature expressing itself within the human body and connecting us to the universal flow of spirit, energy, and life force. These rhythms and energy flows have been sensed and worked with by shamans and healers for thousands of years.

Rooted in the pioneering work of visionaries such as William Sutherland, Hugh Milne, and John E. Upledger, our program offers a deep dive into this gentle yet profound healing method. From a holistic perspective, craniosacral work goes beyond the boundaries of conventional healing methods and delves into the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Practitioners see the craniosacral rhythm as a manifestation of the body’s inherent intelligence, orchestrating its healing and balancing processes on multiple levels. The craniosacral pulse is physiologically the flow of the spinal fluid found around and within the brain and central nervous system.

Central to this practice is the concept of presence - a deep, attuned presence cultivated by both practitioner and client. Through gentle touch and deep listening, practitioners tune into the subtle movements and patterns within the craniosacral system, with the aim of discovering and addressing imbalances that may manifest as physical symptoms or emotional tensions.

As individuals release stored tensions and traumas, they awaken to a deeper sense of self-awareness and inner harmony.

Our program is designed as a journey towards self-healing and authenticity, but also to empower practitioners to guide clients on a holistic journey focused on spiritual growth, an enriched life, and fostering a deep sense of holistic well-being.

Craniosacral work is more than just a technique - it is a harmonious dialogue between the physical, emotional and spiritual realms. Our program of study emphasizes the importance of fostering this connection and mood, giving practitioners the tools and power to assist in healing that extends far beyond the physical body.

Join us and embark on a transformational journey into the depths of Craniosacral work.

Discover the deep connections between the rhythms of nature and the human body, and embrace a holistic approach to healing that honors the unity of mind, body, and spirit.

Note: All students who have completed at least 4 modules can apply to become assistants in the modules they have participated in, and learn the art of holding sacred space for others' processes. The studies are structured so that students who have walked the path before pass on what they themselves have received in terms of support, security and experience from those who have gone before. In this way, insight and deep wisdom are transferred.

During each module you will learn a number of therapeutic techniques. Together we will participate in processes during the module, and you will be introduced to new meditations, simple yoga exercises and other activities that you can use in your own practice or to support clients' processes. Each module also focuses on the development of a new intuitive channel. In addition, there will be a self-development assignment and a group assignment during the module.

A total of 320 teaching hours divided into 8 different modules, plus 2 modules as an assistant.
160 hours of self-study for those following the professional direction (20 hours between each module).
A total of 480 hours over 2 years.

Instructions in Norwegian (Swedish) and English.
Mandatory reading material in English only.
However, for each module you will receive a study compendium in Norwegian or English with excerpts from the reading material and techniques covered in the module.

Practice sessions will be arranged at our academy where students can practice and review techniques together.
After the 2nd module you will have enough tools to start practicing on clients privately.
Otherwise, students practice and study at their own pace between modules.
It is recommended to set aside a few hours each week for practice, study and other exercises.

Networking:
As a student with us, you will have access to a network of students, experienced therapists and healers who will support and encourage you along the way.
A closed Facebook group for the student cohort will be created, where you can share professional information, your experiences and processes with fellow students. Together we are strong!

Do you have to take an exam?
No. We offer two different educational directions:

Personal direction:
For those who want education primarily for personal development. It is not necessary to practice on clients between sessions, and there is no exam. Only 8 modules.

Professional direction:
You do not have to decide on the professional direction until the second year of your studies. Many people discover that the knowledge and methods they learn during their studies can be easily integrated into other types of work and different parts of their lives. If you choose the professional direction, there are requirements for client practice and submission of 50 client forms before the exam.

Exam:
Individual exam when you are ready after completing 8 modules.
The exam costs are 2500,- NOK and includes a theoretical take-home exam.
Once you have passed the theoretical exam, we will arrange a practical exam where you will work with a client with a teacher present, or directly with the teacher, to evaluate your professional level.

To qualify for the exam, you must have received at least 10 craniosacral treatments outside of the study sessions from a teacher or a craniosacral practitioner approved by us. You must also have submitted at least 50 client forms.

What if you miss a module?
If you miss a module due to illness or circumstances beyond your control, you can, by arrangement, make it up later, either at the next opportunity at your place of study or at other locations where we provide the education.

Diploma:
Once you have completed all 8 modules, you will receive a course certificate for the completed modules.
